Gluttony trip to Kuching

So, one random day I suddenly decided to buy tickets to Kuching. That was how my amazing trip began.

Gelang Patah Seafood Hunt

One of the best seafood place that I have tasted (in Johor).

Yummy Laksa Johor

The famous Tampoi Laksa that would make anyone's salivary glands working.

Trip to Palmerston North

So, from Dunedin, I flew up to Palmerston North for about a week for my placement in Palmerston North. Though it was meant to be strictly business only, I managed to have fun and as usual, just hang out with friends I cherish most. :)

Pancake Rocks

Popular stop for tourists when they are travelling along the West Coast of South Island. These rocks are actually limestones that were heavily eroded by the mildly acidic rain, wind and seawater formed about 30 million years ago from minute fragments of dead marine creatures and plants that landed on the seabed about 2km below the surface.

The Australian Adventure

Here are some pictures that I took on my trip to Australia from Dunedin. The places I am going to cover in this post are Oamaru, Christchurch, Gold Coast and Brisbane. :) I had heaps of fun there and I'm delighted to share these pictures with everyone. :)

Here are some pictures of Oamaru where the bus I was taking stopped for morning tea.. :)

A beautiful church in Oamaru.

Oamaru seafront...

This place looks so beautiful...

Welcome to Oamaru... :)

The bus then headed straight to Christchurch after the half an hour break in Oamaru. Since I arrived early at the airport, I decided to explore the place before heading off to Gold Coast. :)

Spotted a US Air Force plane in Christchurch Airport..

After the long wait at Christchurch airport, I finally boarded the place to Gold Coast. I absolutely fell in love with this place. Here are some pictures I took while I was there.

A picture I took at sunset in Gold Coast. Such a beautiful place. :)
Coolangatta beach overlooking Surfers Paradise.

Another picture of sunset which I took while on a cruise.

Gold Coast... :)

Look who I found in the streets of Gold Coast.. :) Hahaha. Spotted him at Surfers Paradise. He was actually really good at juggling those soccer balls.
Another view of Gold Coast from the cruise.
Taking time out to reflect on what he has done... Haha.. :)

We then took the Airtrain headed for Brisbane.

At the Plaza...

Since I was already in Australia, I thought that it would be a waste if I didn't see a koala or a kangaroo so I decided to head to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. I was mesmerized by this place and it was definitely a right choice to visit this place...

Fierce looking eagle...
Kangaroo crossing.... Hahaha

You get what I meant when I say this place was absolutely breath-taking...

Cute little ponies... :) ps: I think it was a kid who was playing with the mane. Not me...

Feeding time... :)

Nap time... Looks cute when the pigeons surrounded the kangaroo...

Sleeping koala... :)

My first encounter with an emu too.... :)

It's happily greeting me... :)

I like the fact that this koala is sleeping with a big smile on its face... :)

This was an active koala. Apparently koalas spend about 20 hours a day sleeping.... Hmmm... Maybe I should be a koala.. :)

A lizard decided to casually walk in front of me and scared the guts out of me... Hmmmm..

Tasmanian devil... It was a very active one indeed.
This is only a section of my trip as I could not find time to edit the other pictures... I'll upload them as soon as I can. Till then, I hope everyone liked the photos. :)

Cheers
